Day 23

Quick musings. Threw out my baseball preview today. Not really sure how they can have a season anytime soon. Saw gas at $1.19 per gallon. I think the last time it was that low was around 2002.

Our drive took us to Indian Lake, just 7 miles northwest of our home as the crow flies. One thing about this thing, it sure has gotten people out of the house. It wasn't even that nice of a day, but there were probably 75 cars parked in the lots and down the driveway to Indian Lake County Park. I'm not sure how everyone was always able to stay away from each other, considering there was probably plenty of shared use of picnic tables and plenty of crowded trails.

Of course, we didn't get out of the car, but we did get to enjoy a view.

Our craft of the day project was cookies. I like these types of crafts....you don't ever have to feel bad about throwing them away, because you eat them instead.
