Easter Monday, a work day for us. A busy one. As I write this, I came to the conclusion that we did not do a craft today. We'll have to think of doing two tomorrow to make up for it.
Today's drive was a quick one just to get the nap in, so yeah, our go-to road, Rocky Dell Road. The story with Rocky Dell Road is that when we were originally test driving a Subaru Outback, the salesman, Ted, said "let's try it out on Rocky Dell Road. It's really rough out there and you'll get a good feel for how a Subaru drives." In the past 5 years, they have patched up the road....but I always think of that first test drive.
Anyway, we have weird dreams of a potato chip truck accidentally spilling and then we just steal all the chips. That is our photo of the day. The potato chip truck did not turn over...

After a bit of work for each of us in the afternoon, we took the walkie talkies that the Easter Bunny brought us up to the hill. Each walkie talkie takes 4 batteries, so it depleted our stash of AAA's pretty quickly.
Today was cold and we have not seen much progress on our tulip patch.

Later on, I went shopping at Hy-vee. There were just some things we needed. I feel like going to a grocery store has an eerie peaceful feeling. There's so few people in there. It felt quite safe. Most people wear masks, but there are some people who just pretend like it is another day. And yeah, I bought two slices of pie.
