I am not sure what the coldest temperature we have had this year, but this is the coldest I can remember.

 So of course we went outside. It warmed up to maybe 17 above today, which felt really nice without too much wind. 

We went off to Devil's Lake. The White House is still here (see Jan 30 post when we were last here).

There was a bit more snow in the lake, so we took the path and kicked the ball as we went along.

We can always tell people we went to the beach.

Here we are walking up the path on the east side...we posed for a few photos. Elmo came along again too.

As we were walking on this path, we saw a family of five walk with their snowshoes on the lake. We walked out to the path they made and walked back to our car on the lake. That was really nice. Also spoke to a woman and her dog Jackson in the parking lot as we had some snacks.

Made a quick Costco run. I guess these are my priorities in life. Should have enough water softener until the pandemic is over.
