A lot of fun photos from today's adventures. Instead of doing the big trip like yesterday, we felt the Arboretum would be fun. We quickly nestled to our favorite spot where we had our Christmas photos taken in 2018.

He likes to pretend it is his house..."welcome!"

This tree is called a "Snake Branch Norway Spruce"

On a Facetime call.

He was getting good at looking for the letter "J" to recognize the "juniper" trees. They have a lot of different looking species.

This tree was interesting. I don't remember this gold pine tree before.

We saw the Queen on the drive home.

Since it was the start of daylight saving time, the best way to get him on track was to lose the nap today to make sure we get him to bed by 8PM.

Tools from Amazon are a big hit...these are some channel lock pliers that I need for some repairs around the house. He had fun.

We had gel crayons and water colors to keep us busy.

Next up, we had the craft from the Highlights magazine where you put peanut butter on a pinecone, then roll it in bird seed and place in a tree as a treat for your birds.

We'll see if any birds eat it up.

Lastly, painting tiny pinecones.

And he got to sleep by 8:30. Mission accomplished.

Snow tomorrow, yay!
