204

The day started with breakfast at Festge Park just west of Cross Plains. With the temps in the mid-40s, we were the only ones there.

With opportunities to be outside not so good because of on and off rain, we did more watercolor paintings today. Here are the end results.

On the drive back from Hyvee, I saw an old Chevy Cavalier. I just had to take a picture of it. It was the type of car you could see a high schooler getting brand new back in the day.

Since we are in the month of Halloween, we have been busy getting things spooky around the house, even the LEGOs.

Then time for some leek potato soup.

AFTER...

In the evening, we had a Target run in Fitchburg. They had something we needed (for Halloween), and they didn't have it at our nearby Target. For a quick walk, we went to visit the Fitchburg splash pad. It was slightly raining, so it felt like the splash pad, only cooler.

Now for the thing we got at Target, this big fancy Halloween pumpkin!
