214

The first light of the day was quite beautiful. Kind of like being on top of Haleakala, but the clouds are above you in Wisconsin.

After some work meetings, I had a chance to get out. When I recommended a bike ride to the yellow playground, I was surprised he said "Yes," so we went for it.

Putting out fires is his favorite thing to do.

Also dancing on top of a manhole cover.

On the ride home and after some yelling in the tunnel to hear echoes, we saw some excavation just north of the hockey arena. We watched them move earth for about 20 minutes. Fun to watch for any age.

On our afternoon drive, we saw Rocky Dell Road in the Fall glory....or is it past peak already?

We did a craft today with super absorbent paper towels and food coloring. It made for some fun patterns.

After we finished, we set them out to dry. I'm not sure we'll do anything with them, but they are fun to look at.
