I got a new ballast in the mail yesterday from Northern Light Technologies in Montreal. With it, I should be able to fix our lamp. For this my strategy is mostly one to take a lot of pictures of each step, and then slowly replace the part and then re-assemble. If I get confused, consult a picture I took.
Here we are disassembling the lamp cover.
Now to replace the ballast. Basically reconnecting a bunch of wires.
After my work meeting, we had a chance to get out in the sun and kick the ball around. He got a good workout. I almost feel bad I didn't get him in short sleeves and shorts. Sounds like Friday will be 80, so it could be a shorts day.
In the afternoon, we did a little dancing at Kindermusik.
