So earlier in the day, a colleague shared with me a Nutcracker performance that her daughter was in last year. She wanted me to download it, just in case she didn't. She thought Kai would like it.

 One thing that we are trying to do now is to have more themed days. Since we have some books about learning to trace letters of the alphabet, we are working on the letter "A" today. Just simply writing it and drawing some animals that start with "A."

At 1PM, we went to the Pop Up Library. We sat in line behind this woman for about 5 minutes, so she gets to be the lucky unknown celebrity of our blog.

Here is one of the books we got. These are fun books.

The fun part of about the library, is we had a 2nd trip there at 4:36 for another planned library pick up. We got a lot of books, which is nice. Keeps our reading fresh. On the way back we went past the grassy picnic area. Lots of people out tonight.

At night, we tried some hair cutting. We weren't able to completely finish, so since it will be warm this weekend, we'll try again.

At night, it was fun to watch him read his book. We got some Magic Bone books that he is interested in.
