I took some time off today, so we had a few errands to do before going to the zoo. In the morning, we dropped by the library and we saw the train coming by. We had a front row seat.
On the way to the zoo, we drove past my work. I just got note that we'll be working from home through April 2, 2021 now.
We like the playground next to the zoo. We always go here before visiting the animals. The drums here are too tall though.
This is my life. I am the stick collector now.
With it being nearly winter, a lot of the animals like the giraffes, rhinos, alligator, etc are inside. However, we could still take a peek at the flamingos.
The zoo also got this new two-year old polar bear from the Toledo Zoo. He was wandering a bit through the exhibit. The sign said he had not been away from his mother until now, so he was kind of working his way around this new world in Madison, probably a bit lonely.
On the way back home, we picked up the complimentary book from the Middleton Library for the Wintertime Storywalk. We'll find time to do this when we have a warm day.
