When we got home last night, we got notification there was an Amazon package in our mailbox. When I went to the mailbox, I saw that the mailbox had somehow become detached from the post. I think the packages we get barely squeeze into the mailbox, and sometimes they get too rough, and this time just dislodged it entirely.

I've never had to fix a mailbox, but thankfully it was easy and quick.

We've had our same passcode combination for our garage for 11 years. The keys were basically wearing out so I had to change the combination. I also was able to install a quick an easy solution by being able to control the garage with the myQ app. Just two pieces of hardware and an app and I can open the garage door quickly without touching the keypad.

I finally got this installed today.

An presto....I can open my garage door without being at the garage door...and be notified if the garage door is open or closed.

At night, he wanted to go outside in his pool shoes. He was not interested in shorts or pants....so out we went.

Maybe we'll luck out and have another nice non-rainy day tomorrow.
