Today we purchased tickets to go the lambing and kidding day at Eugster's Farm Market. They had to cancel the event last year, so it was good to see the event back, even though this is the first time we've been to it.
At the event, you can pet puppies, baby goats, chicks, ducks and rabbits, among all the other things to do at Eugster's.
this is Owelet
his little heart was beating hard, like he was nervous
The next place to go was to visit the chick, ducks and rabbits in a different shed.
a little duckie slide
The lavender is growing well this year. I think it is the highlight of their next event. We like walking around here because it is quiet and away from the crowds.
Of course, the usual friends were there too.
When he was reading this sign, he thought it was the prayer we read prior to meals...he went from sign to sign saying that prayer..."bless us oh Lord..."
While we were at Eugster's, we found out our power was out at home, so we took our time getting back....so here is Arby's for the first time in a year.
we actually ate in the Holiday Inn parking lot looking at the pool
The power finally came on around 3PM....luckily the temps rose to only has high as 28 in the freezer. The last time the power was out for an extended amount of time was August 2018. At least this time we didn't need to throw out any food.
I think the freezer cools down and warms up around 6 degrees per hour without power
That's it for the weekend.
