Our first adventure of the weekend took us to an old favorite spot, Festge Park just west of Cross Plains. We like their new overlook/observation area they built. It has a good, rustic look, but it is brand new.
The view is great, but it can be a bit noisy as it is above US 14. It was fun walking around since there is no brush since they did a prescribed burn here a few months back.
We had Kindermusik in a different back yard this morning. Really fun to see all these different homes and what their yards look like. This one has a nice sloping big backyard with a bunch of trees. It really worked out well. Nice and sunny and everyone spread out.
In the afternoon, we practiced casting and reeling in with the fishing pole.
After his nap, he came up with this creative "Math Song" as we call it.
Going to the yellow playground quick before bed time.
Day 400 of the blog. I'm trying to find a good day to end it. I know it will be quite some time before everything is back to normal, but with my 2nd COVID shot coming up next week, I'm thinking within a few weeks of that we'll find a natural spot to stop the daily blog.....we'll see.
