Okay, so only one photo of him today...this is right before preschool.
My day was a fun one since I am getting my 2nd COVID shot in Monroe. Monroe is one of those cities that worked really hard to save their downtown square.
As I drove around, I saw a nice yarn store and toy store. I think we should come back here another time.
After the shot, I took a small drive around Monroe. I didn't realize the population was about 10,000....I thought it was about half that size. Regardless, they have this nice city park with what looks like a WWII plane.
And there's this mansion that people use for special events.
The city of Monticello (on the way back) has this really neat park next to the highway. I think it is a manmade lake with a nice island that you can take a bridge to get to. However, the geese also like this area....so my adventure was cut short as I didn't want to get poop all over my shoes.
Shredfest in the afternoon.
