The goal was to create a bridge with painter's tape, then paint, then rip it off when it was all dried...
..skipping to the afternoon, this is what they turned out like.
Around 10AM, we decided to take a real-life Monet type of trip down to Paradise Park, which is next to a pond shop just east of Madison. This place is truly a gem. It isn't really a park, but a place for the pond place to showcase what they can do, but also something to rent out for weddings and other celebrations. They are not busy this year.
I took a 4-minute YouTube so we'd be able to remember the day.
One memorable thing, was this little kitty who just had to play with Mommy's shoe. So funny...it was gnawing on it for about five minutes until the shoelace became untied.
And here is another picture...
In the afternoon, we picked up groceries. I asked the Hyvee guy why they didn't appear to be so busy outside. His response was informative. During the beginning days of the pandemic, they were not set up well. They went from 10's of food pickups, to now hundreds. They are still doing hundreds per day, but they are just a lot better at it. He did say though that they need to get set up better inside so they can do this during the winter time.
Later in the day, we went to the brand new Holiday Inn and Suites that is about a mile away from us. We have seen them slowly build it, and it looks like they have finally let people stay the night now.
I like this high-efficiency light.
