152

It's Wednesday, meaning I took the day off. It was another really nice day, but you know what can make it hot, the wrong playground. We initially wanted to go to the "yellow playground" and then the "green playground," but there were so many people/kids, so we decided to go the playground we scoped out the other day at Daybreak Valley....also known as the "light-blue playground."

As you can see, this is one of those playgrounds with the rubber tire base. It is really soft, but that black can kick it up a few degrees. Still fun being here to watch them build the nearby homes in this new neighborhood. Otherwise though, this playground is not high on my list.

We did however find a new playground on the way back home. This is in the neighborhood behind ours. I like these newfangled teeter totters where your butt doesn't really have to hit the ground.

Here we are digging to Disney World. This playground had all small rocks for a base, which were perfect for digging.

Then we found this delightful rock with the painted evergreen tree. We made sure to leave it in this spot to help make someone else happy when they discovered it too.

I got my hair cut today. That was an interesting experience with all the health protocols. When they had to cut around my ears, she just had me hold the mask over my face with my hands. Not too many people getting a haircut today.

Then some more chalk drawing on the front step. I will miss chalk drawing in the winter time.
