It was my off day, so we got to a new playground. This one is in the Orchid Heights Neighborhood. This is probably one of the nicer playgrounds. It has a tree-looking structure in the center with all kinds of ropes and ways to climb to it. I think he will like it more next year.

After that, we went to the zoo. On the way to the zoo, a train paid us a visit.

At the zoo we saw lions, rhinos, alligators and bison. I think our favorite today was the rhino since it was so close to the edge. There still is only one giraffe. Not sure what happened with the other one.

The polar bear and grizzly bear were both playing in the water. By that time though, he was more interested in getting to the car and falling asleep.

Our drive of the day took us the to the waste compost pile. See if you can find the little watermelon scraps in the photo.

Dinner was a nice homemade pizza with our basil and a drive to the city pool. Want to make sure we get to the pool at least once this summer.
