I have finished another book. This book made a lot of the best of 2020 books. It is two weeks overdue, but the library got it back today. Basically the best hand wins in poker about 20% of the time. The rest of poker is how to read your opponents and knowing when you need to fold. Most of the time people go all-in all the time, even if they don't have a good hand (and lose a lot of money). An interesting read. The author went from never played poker to being a high-level player in one year. The main takeaway is that there is so much luck/chance in the world, that thinking you can control for that stuff is impossible.
Whenever I read a book, I look at the last page for about 3 minutes, trying to soak in everything I was supposed to understand in the book.
