Almost every MLK Day we have gone to Olbrich Gardens to see their indoor display gardens.
Here is a photo from last MLK Day.
This year however, I'm not even sure they are open. However, the outdoors are always open, so we went to Cherokee Marsh - North Unit, just north of Lake Mendota. Not sure why, but we've never been here.
They have a lot of nice and wide trails. Some people here, but not too many. There are walks through the woods, observation areas and docks next to the Yahara River.

We were out here a while longer as we played a little catch.
