316

Today was a big day as one member of our household got the first round of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Here we are looking to see where we enter the clinic.

In the meantime, we went to eat in the parking lot and watch the steam rising from power plant.

we also did some mazes

here is my fancy picture through the binoculars

All done with round 1!

A few weeks back we saw swans on this part of Lake Mendota. Today it was all fishermen.

Every January are Bald Eagle Watching Days in Sauk City. The eagles need open water to fish and big trees to roost in. The Wisconsin River has both of those things as the water never completely freezes over and there are big trees and undeveloped shoreline.

We were lucky to see 2 eagles. I got a picture of this one.

It was kind of like being at the beach.

We were even thrilled to see the Toulouse Goose that we had seen last year. We had wondered if it hung out here all year with its Canada Goose friends.

In the mid-afternoon we all got our hair cut again. Nice to have that done.

Playing Humpty Dumpty.
