I'm normally not a big fan of wasting food for science, but the science experiment book we had demanded it.

Today we made lava inside of a lemon. All we needed was a lemon, baking soda, lemon juice, food color and soap. Basically mix them all together and create oozing lava...the color determined by the food color you select. It was a fun half hour. A bonus too since we didn't make any kind of mess.

After my work meetings, we went out to the yellow playground. Today was 37 and tomorrow is going to be 17, so we had to do it.

I initially thought there might be other people out there playing, but it was quite windy it felt like it was about 20 degrees. We still had fun on the playground and just running around the snow.

We were busy practicing our dismount from the fire truck.

Then we ran around in the snow, wind and sun!
