A couple of fun activities happened today.
First, we decided before he got up that we would have a Play-Doh day. We had everything out and ready first thing in the morning.
Here he is slicing up a cake.
Afterwards we made Christmas trees, wreaths, donuts, etc.
After small, dried fragments of Play-Doh were on the floor, we got a bit carried away cleaning up with the vacuum.
Our next step was to go to Governor Nelson State Park. Initially we were going to snowshoe, but the snow is kind of already packed down, so we ended up on the lake walking around.
We've been on ice earlier this year, but never on Lake Mendota.
There is a small spring that runs into the lake. We were able to take some pictures and pick up some lucky stones.
A few more photos...
We actually saw the sun today, which was a welcome surprise.
On our way back...if you look closely, this is the same location as the January 2021 photo on the calendar we printed out for our family.
