Our day got started at the Bruce Company. Rather than go there on a Saturday, Friday morning would be much better.

We really wanted something for him to see grow. As you can see, we chose the easy route this year with this tomato. I think we can just stand to water this thing.

The afternoon drive took us past the University Display Gardens....this is a situation where I forgot to take a picture while we were there looking at tractors, so I took this quick drive-by photo. Peonies are blooming (they say).

The craft of the day is doing the water color, and then watch the book turn colors type of thing. It is a Peppa Pig book we ordered through the preschool about 4 months ago, that we finally got today.
