We are thinking about Father's Day this weekend and how much fun it will be to go fishing. He was able to successfully cast out of the back of Mommy's Outback today. I bought some bobbers on Amazon that will be arriving on Thursday. Watch out fishies.
next time we'll use worms and a hook
The first drive of the day took me to HyVee for a pick up of groceries. There was nothing remarkable about the trip. Got gas, he fell asleep, got groceries. I am a little upset I just missed the odometer hitting "77777"....so close.
I would have been driving on the belt line somewhere near the Old Sauk Road exit when 77777 happened
The craft of the day was to do some chalk drawings...somewhat similar to the alphabet we did about a month ago, but a bit easier since we only did numbers 1 through 10.
The second drive of the day took us to Miko Poke for some Hawaiian food. We have not been there during the pandemic. I think this is something that should last through the pandemic. We ordered our food, showed up, grabbed it and left. Wow, super convenient.
the door was propped open, ready for us to grab our bag of food
