We call it Sunday Funday....as do a lot of other people I assume.

After breakfast and church, we needed to get outside. We went to the park next to the high school. This is normally where they have the Good Neighbor Festival. I am not sure if they have called it off this year yet, as it is right before Labor Day....but just thinking that this space might be completely unused this year made me glum.

They are building an addition to the high school. It was fun to see the construction vehicles. What I really liked was the drawing...and they have all the cars built in. At the new high school, people will be driving Mercedes, Audis and Kias.

who will be driving the fancy cars, the teachers or students?

And he is getting to the age where he wants to run ahead of us.

Our afternoon drive was just enough to get him back to sleep. This is a repeat picture of the new Eagle Trace neighborhood barn.

After the nap, the beach party began. First up, ukulele concert.

Then dinner....which was eggs. We have so many odd green vegetables, but they all go well with eggs.

Then an evening tennis match at Greenway Station. He prefers to be our music entertainment. It's quite funny as we hit the ball over him. He just keeps on playing.
