When we started the day, we got excited to show Mommy something we made yesterday. This would classify as a "contraption."

After my work meeting, we had a little bit of time to go out. We didn't want to spend the time getting in the car, so anything quick would do. We spent most of the time going down the path near our home on the scooter. I would help him get to the top, then guide him down really fast down.

So today was not really the first day of school. It was the day to pick up the supplies. At Pope Farm Elementary, they had these people sitting at the driveways to the school pointing parents/guardians on how to pick up their school issued iPads.

Our craft was to create bookmarks. These turned out really well. Kind of fun. We had our choice of crayons, colored pencils, markers or paints.

Around 7PM, we went back to Pope Farms Elementary to see if we could find some alone time on the playground.

It wasn't as busy as the weekend, so we had a chance to play around for a bit.
