It has been almost two months since we had been to the zoo, so we decided to head back today.
Here is the Bornean Orangutan getting his morning exercise.
The lion had this glare as he looked past us. I think he was looking at the giraffe....wondering if he'd ever get a chance to take him out. He just stared at him for minutes.
Here is the giraffe, without a care in the world.
Here are the polar bears hanging out in the water. After finishing the Alaska book a few days ago, I'm happy they are behind glass.
Then of course, when other kids are looking for the animals, we find a stage to pretend we are performing.
When we got home we noticed they were digging around in our playground. Later in the evening, there were some girls on the playground, they indicated they are putting in two new handicapped swings. That'll be nice. We actually prefer them.
On our drive to the compost we got to see them fix the traffic light. What a highlight!
After dinner, we did a little finger painting. He got a bit carried away with the black.
Then to burn off a bit of energy, we went to the park at night. He is carrying my head lamp and wearing the reflective vest.
