Day 49

I'm breaking my rule and going with two Hawaii photos for today. The easy one to post was this view back from near the top of Kohala. I like it because you are nearly 5,000' up and can see back down toward Kona, the airport and the Waikoloa. If you need help orienting yourself, just look for the green, it is normally a golf course which helps you find your way around.

The journey of that day was to find the Kamehameha statue near his birthplace on the north shore. I like this photo because it reminds you that not every good photo happened on the first shot.

afterwards, we offered up a sacrificial PB&J
Back to May Day 2020. We got out this morning for some golf in our pajamas. It was really bright and sunny. I got to golf, our son was the "grass keeper."

Our drive of the day was to the fancy homes on Champions Run. On that drive is where the University of Wisconsin's head football coach lives. It was garbage day. Do you think a person that has a salary of just over $4M puts out the family garbage? My guess is yes.

but he probably has someone to clean his house
Finally, the day got a bit busy as I was able to head off to the grocery store. This time, my bill at Metcalfe's was $230. I think they are doing a great job by making the aisles one way affairs.

can anybody find the panko?
For days 50 through 60, I'll be using Roman Numerals to mark the dates. Is everybody ready for day L on Saturday!? We'll try to make up for the craft we missed on Friday.
