Day Sixty-Six

The rain yesterday and today brought some changes to the landscape.

First off, it kind of decimated our tulips. Seems like that always happens with a burst of rain in May, and they are quickly gone.

Also, it snowed today...kind of. You know, it only happened under this tree though.

Merry Christmas?
Today's craft was to make something of the orange containers (or whatever you call the things they sell the oranges in). I was inspired since it looked like eyeballs. I have pink eyes (but not conjunctivitis) and of course an eye piercing, because you can never be too young to learn that eye piercing is a thing. Kai was just super excited when he crossed the blue and yellow that he created the color green.

look, right-handed coloring!

Happy Halloween
Finally, the drive of the day was to the Ice Age Trail interpretive site. Wanted to see if any areas experienced any damage due to the rainfall. This place did not. I think all the excessive rain was an hour east of here.
