Day Sixty-One

A windy day today kept most outdoor activities close to the house. The other day, we watched a singalong of the song in Frozen....the "Let it Go" song...here's a very boisterous rendition of the song.

could not hold it back anymore
You know the place that is near you, but you're always too busy driving that you never go there....that describes our drive today. There is a small church somewhere west of us...it could be described as...."yeah, it's over there somewhere....the church bells play music at 6PM every Saturday night." We found that place today. It is a Baptist church on a side road on the way to Cross Plains. So nice we might go for a picnic there sometime.

The continuation of the drive takes us to a small neighborhood on Stagecoach Trail. We see homes from Highway 14, but there are some homes high up on the ridge that enjoy this view. I had no idea the homes went up this high.

looking down from the neighborhood
Finally, we had a pick up of food from Hy-vee. The best part is just taking good humor in what you get. I wanted some soup. I got some soup I wanted, and then I got this.

mmm....bacon
Continuing the Play-Doh theme for a 2nd day. Here is some pizza fresh from the oven.

yummy
