day seventy-five

Since we are kind of doing the daycare thing at home, educational opportunities have interesting ways of presenting themselves. I'll start with this. I'm pretty sure I have never bought Alpha-Bits prior to this box I bought a few weeks ago.

So we practiced a little spelling today. The "X" and "K" are so close...it took a lot of panning for cereal to find that "K."

more spelling tomorrow...
Over the last few days, the weather has been warm, and the bugs have been out. I think this might be what baby spiders look like? They are next to our house.
Our afternoon drive took us to the Enchanted Valley area. A bunch of wild phlox growing in the fields.
Our afternoon craft is a continuation of the prior day with the rocks. Today's craft was to paint them. This might end up being a three-day craft though as we are still not done.
being careful to not get any on the deck

After that, pool party!

with Hawaiian music
Lastly, the lilacs in full bloom on our evening walk.
