Day LIII

Day 53...more days than there are in a deck of cards, unless you play with Jokers. We never played with Jokers.

I was 23 until I took my first plane ride. Riding in an airplane is still a joy if I can sit next to the window with my GPS. Here is the photo of us landing in Madison last year on May 5. Always fun to see how much greener the Earth gets when you are away for 11 days.

Today was a cool day, meaning it seems like a lot of our flowers are being frozen in time. Tulips abound, as you will see later.

The drive of the day was to Cross Plains and the very anti-social distancing new boardwalks. Bummer if you play by the 6' rule and you come across someone here. Does one of the two people need to just turn around?

Our craft of the day was to make a book depository. We've had our library books since February, with a tentative date to return them on July 1. Here is our interim solution.

Finally, we went to Greenway Station tonight to get in a quick walk, and to see how busy the restaurants would be with food take-outs for Cinco de Mayo. Ancho and Agave seemed busy. We were too busy enjoying these tulips though.
