Day LI

This is a really odd photo from a year ago. We did our anniversary train photo on the east side of Hawaii. On the way back, we ate at a place called "Danos Doner." I was so happy I found a photo of the place, even though it is so obscure. The photo is so bad, I think Kai took it, or I accidentally took it.

see danos-doner.com for more...

Today was a really good day. The first thing we did was to drive to the Mid-Continent Railroad Museum nearly 50 minutes away. We knew it would be closed, but we didn't expect all the "No Trespassing" signs. However, we got to see some trains.

When we came home, it was time for a little play outside, which reminded me of how fast our peony was growing. Compare to the photo from the day before. I needed to help it out to make sure it was growing into the proper hoops.

Also went to the top of the hill to clear away grass from the tulips. They should bloom next weekend.

no animal damage yet
Finally, crafts. Here is my craft, a home made wasp trapper. Just needed some syrup, sugar, water and a plastic bottle.

let's hope high fructose corn syrup is bad for wasps too!
And then the boat made of household items. It went into the tub tonight and fared okay...the glue did not hold. Maybe it needed more time to dry.
