The main activities of the day were the castle cake and the sidewalk art. Let's start with the cake. I know I've used the mold one time before for a special occasion that I cannot remember.
Here is the the pouring of the mold.

Then we had to carefully remove the mold. Flawlessly of course.

Then the quick drive to Rocky Dell, yes again, because it always works. Drive to Rocky Dell Road and put on the Old Befana CD, and he falls asleep just like that. The highlight of the drive was seeing this train.

Finally, some fun on the sidewalk. We must have nearly 35 squares of sidewalk, so we could do a theme of one letter and one picture per sidewalk square. The lighting was tough, but we did the best we could to capture our art.
Our favorite is the T, since it has a double T. Trains carrying tulips!

Fun trying to get creative and just draw what comes to mind without much thought.
