Day LIX

Today was a really nice day, about as nice as 55 degrees could be. We went up to the top of the hill to see if the tulips were still around (they were).

there are at least 2 other tulips besides these
We also spent some time outside the house picking up the daily dandelions that decide to poke their heads above ground. We'll be mowing for the first time in a few days.

The afternoon drive was a repeat drive to the west of Cross Plains, but has me thinking tonight of a future adventure. Off in the distance atop a bluff I saw what looked like a park. In looking online, there is a group called Swamplovers Nature Preserve, which apparently has open access to this land. I am officially interested in getting here.

the town in the lower right is Cross Plains

The craft of the day involved making these little grass anklets for fire dancing. He had a lot of fun.

you always have to take your shirt off
Finally, this evening marked the final Kindermusik with Miss Debbie. Kind of a sad farewell as she is leaving for Texas in a few months. Here we are doing Tommy Thumbs.

"everybody dancing all around the town..."
