Day LVIII

Happy Snowy Mother's Day. That's a sentence I've never said before.

Before we get to Sunday, here is the completed abacus. Really neat, especially now that after a few YouTube videos I understand how it works.

I get you abacus
Back to today. Before I got up, my wife said she needed to get this recording done quick before the rest of us got up. I just enjoyed listening to it come together over the past few weeks. I think that's the joy in most everything is to see the continual improvement. Now we can travel to Hawaii with our ukuleles.

Here is a mix of seasons....an umbrella for the snow and spring tulips in the background.

Not many people out today on this rainy, cool day. We drove south to past the Appleberry Farm and some of the nice homes in the area. Here is one home that caught our eye. We like the home since it is high up, looking down atop the trees almost.

Not sure what the craft of the day will be. I excuse us if we take a day off. I know we are ordering food from Imperial Gardens as a Mother's Day treat.

--UPDATE-- Imperial Gardens did not answer the phone. It was either always busy the 10 times I called them, or they simply had enough orders and did not answer the phone. Thankfully Noodles has a nice app and quick pick up. Thank you Noodles!

Finally, here is a photo of Mom and child.
