Day Sixty-Five

I think it has rained all day. With no real places to just waltz around inside, our best option was under the train station canopy at Greenway Station. I'm pretty sure we invented a new word, "umbrelfie." That's when you take a selfie when you have an umbrella.

the world's first umbrelfie
Later on, with the rain pelting our tulips at home, we needed to see how the tulips at the State Capitol are doing. They look better than ours! Maybe our friend Liina can snag some for the top of our hill.

how many do you think there are?
Finally, we have a craft of the day coming up. My craft is going to be blanching stinging nettles. My favorite part of this is when you type in the first two words of something in Google, and then to see what it recommends I search for. Not sure too many foods have as big a range as this nettle...

spring foods are just crazy
Here is our official craft of the day...."for the blog!"

It is a percussion instrument, emulating one we saw last February at a performance at Olbrich Gardens.
