111

We are locked into warm days for the foreseeable future, but we still are finding time to play inside and outside.

First up, I'm going to call this the craft of the day, which is to play with his Play-Doh barbershop.

After he got some practice in, he was able to use the scissors with just one hand

still two-handing it
In the morning when I was downstairs, I looked at the nest...it appeared that too much light was shining through it. When I took a peek, they were all gone. The last two birds had left. According to the Internet, they are unlikely to come back. They didn't even say "goodbye."

With that, we had to leave the house before it became even hotter. I convinced him that if he walked to the foot of the hill, that I would carry him up. We ended up going into the adjacent woods on the hill and adventured all the way to the back of the county land.

someone cleared a nice path for us
After that, we went to the playground. When we were inside about an hour earlier an "Unknown Caller" had called our home phone. Then he kind of had the same problem, as an "Unknown Caller" was calling him while we were on the teeter totter. It was kind of funny to hear him say, "Hello, Unknown Caller" and then go into a conversation on the phone.

Then we had the train theme going on a little bit here....hear the echo.

The afternoon drive took us out and around to Church Road. I needed a photo, so this is it.

In the evening, we weren't sure what to do, go somewhere, stay at home, or go for a ride. We ended up going for another ride. Here is a photo of all that indecision.
