115

Sometimes you have to get outside no matter what. The first opportunity was around 11AM. I think it was somewhere between 86 and 89. We brought water to the yellow playground. Still fun to be on the firetruck.

Most of the time we spent on the tandem swing. The funnest part was that about 100 yards or so away, the nearby gym was holding classes outdoors. There were about 6-7 high schoolers, boy and girls, who were taking part of the training. Most of the training involved them pulling a sled that was filled with weights for 40-yard sprints. When the instructor/trainer yelled "harder!" and "faster!," Kai had fun yelling those same words and encouraging them on. I don't think they heard him though, but I sure did.

"Harder!" "Faster!"
The drive of the day took us to the Moka coffee shop, just to see how many people were getting coffee....just one car at the drive through. I forgot to snap a photo, so here is one random photo from our drive.

When he woke up from his nap, we went to our library for our 4:30 reservation to pick "5-minute Pooh Stories." We could not wait to get home, so we read in the car.

Kindermusik started tonight with Miss Angie. I think this will be a fun few weeks on Mondays at 6PM.

Finally, our craft was to grab some Queen Anne's Lace and dye it with food coloring by feeding it colored water.

First, getting the plants...

Then putting them in the food colored water...

Will see if they change colors over the next few days.
