Scones today on the shores of Lake Wingra. This is a spot we have never been to before, but worked out just fine. Plenty of people watching available as they rent out boats and kayaks here.

In this next photo, you can see they actually rent out a duck as well. I was just hoping someone would take it out when we were here. It was one of the first ones chosen when the boat shop opened at 8:30.

QUACK!
On Saturday night, we missed our opportunity to throw coins in the Greenway Station fountain because there were so many people out. On Sunday morning, we got to make our wishes.

After a quick pit stop at home, we went to Warner Park on the north side of town. We tried a little fishing, but there are so many weeds now, it just because casting, and then immediately getting hooked on weeds. Fishing in July in Wisconsin....

Warner Park is also where the baseball stadium is in Madison. Here we are looking at the inside of the stadium. You could see how they were using the stadium for a drive in theater.

On the way back home, we saw one of the fancy daycares...except they probably don't call it that. Whatever they call this one...it's a zoo...as in zebras and camels. I can't believe the preschool (or whatever they call it) has wild animals.

The craft of the day saw Mommy finish up her picnic blanket she had been working on since 2017. Also we made this small blanket for one of our fun stuff animals.

Last year, we had this nice herb garden, and did nothing with it. Today I got to make chicken on the grill with some Italian Parsley, Curly Parsley and Sage. It looked really good and tasted good too.
