In anticipation of writing a check today, I thought it might be fun to make this into an art project. We never found out how much the check was for, but he quoted us "$2"

the only check he'll ever write

After some morning meetings, we went off to a new playground. I think the playgrounds disappoint me more than they should. He does like the steering wheel, but they make many aspects of the playground unplayable for a three-year old.

he likes the steering wheel

no way to get up here

The afternoon drive took us around town. This is how many people are at Kohl's

flash sale today, I got the message on my phone too

After a nap, we went out to the pool....almost 100 degrees.

After that, we had to investigate the neighborhood construction project, which was to fix the situation where the sump pumps are getting water on top of the trails, making them slippery. Apparently the city is embroiled in four lawsuits over people slipping on the path. Today they took the step of diverting the water under the path.

Finally, an art project of painting. It was hot out, but not so bad in the shade. Look at all those colors!
