We'll keep it with the downtown Madison theme for our Sunday Scone Day. This time at the State Capitol Building. We found a nice quiet spot on the stairs for scones and coffee.

We walked around the entire building. I just thought this was interesting that the Supreme Court gets a daily paper.

In mid-morning, we spent a little time outside sprinkling the flowers, and finding a way to cool off.

For our afternoon drive, we had to look at the end result of all the excavation work was at Saco Foods. Looks like they added two temporary driveways and cleared out the land and dug two big holes for construction to commence.

Nearby there is a mural that was picture worthy as well.
