Today was a continuation of yesterday. I told Kai when I had a chance, we would go visit the construction equipment today. It was in full action.

We got to see the excavator, dump trucks, steam roller and bobcat in action.

Here is the dump truck with a big load of rocks to create a temporary driveway.

Then to cap it all off, here is the train going by. I told him to cover his ears as the train whistle was about ready to go off.

Later on, we got to see them connect a few train cars. That was pretty neat. You don't see that every day...for those of us that don't work on trains.

The afternoon drive was a quick one almost to Cross Plains and back. I like this home on our trip. I'm not sure how to get there, but I like this home..

In the evening, we went for a walk around Pope Farms. The corn is really tall.
