Today was just all around pleasant. After my long two hour work meeting, he was ready to go outside. After yesterday's rains, the sump pump started running again, which meant it was time to play in the water.

The afternoon drive took us to get rid of lawn clippings at the compost facility. You can see the big rut and wash out from the rain yesterday. Thankfully there is a spot to drove over without the big rut being in the way.

In the afternoon, we did a big drawing of a various farm buildings and farm activities.

Then we noticed that our first tomato was ready. Kai picked it.

Next, a check up on the Queen Anne's Lace and the food coloring experiment from a few days ago. As you can see, the colors are starting to appear.

Finally, in the evening we went to the University Display Gardens. The gardens are in the fullest bloom for most flowers.
