Today is the first day I noticed his ability to reach all the way to the pedals....but he had trouble keeping them there. Anyway, maybe we'll get there by the end of summer.

Shortly after that, we took to the chalk. We were hoping that someone would drop off a pizza on our front step.

Then we went to Hyvee for our grocery pick up. The wait at 2:15PM was basically none. Good timing, and not a Friday. Will have to try this time in upcoming weeks.

In the evening, we went to the University Display Gardens. We like them since there normally are no people here, but there seemed to be a lot of road traffic tonight.
Many of the vegetables still have small fruit. I was able to find the watermelon. I bet these grow fast. We'll have to monitor it over the next week or two.
